Our neglected Pineal gland…
We are well into the year by now, time to focus on our own personal journey. Heading closer to higher energies of Easter coming up in April plus energies of Wesak in May, it is recommended to address our pineal gland more. The pineal gland is a tiny gland in the centre of our head which secrets a special hormone called DMT (dimethyltryptamine) that is responsible for our intuition, inner knowing or psychic abilities. Often this little gland hardens over years (calcifies) from lack of nutrients, acknowledgement of its use or general poor lifestyle. But it can be reversed simply by changing our poor habits.
You may have been experiencing this scenario of late….a message from above…..
You believe in yourself so wholeheartedly one day and you make a ton of progress. Then you let your mind toy with you, begin to doubt and take a few steps back. You are the one causing your own delays. Which means you can also be the one expediting the unfolding of all your goals. You’re holding the remote control to this game we’re playing. Be more consistent in your agenda and your energy will have no choice but to respond in kind.
As you continue to remove layers of your conditioning, you will find that even your desires will change. The things you once thought you needed or wanted will also shift because they are now stemming from your true self as opposed to craving things that would satisfy what others wanted for you. This is why you wanted simpler satisfactions as a child. The more inner work you continue to do, the more you’ll find that everything you desire is everything you already have.
On a last note, here are some suggestions to help strengthen your pineal gland. Of course there are many other ways as well.
- Drink distilled water to flush out heavy toxins and metals from the body
- Practice sun gazing sun rise or sun set when the sun is golden. Start slow working up to 2-3 mins.
- Meditate with a crystal over the 3rd eye eg amethyst, clear quartz, sodalite, lapis
- Eat less meat, aim for lighter foods that are plant based
- Use herbs that are healing eg mugwort, alfalfa, parsley, gotu kola
