Different cooking classes are designed to help us understand the importance of eating healthy nutritional foods, utilising herbal/medicinal foods or using Superfoods to enhance our well-being.
Herbal or medicinal food has been passed down in Chinese families for generations. These types of food have significant healing properties, so when used in specific cooking it will have therapeutic effects on our body. Often Chinese will utilise these herbal/medicinal foods as first point of call when the season changes or mild symptoms of ailments show. This is about creating balance, adding medicinal herbal foods and understanding the nature of foods and the seasons.
Chinese Medicinal foods cooking is based on the 5 elements theory of eating different herbal foods throughout the seasons. These include building our immune system over winter to cooling down the system especially the liver in the summer months. All recipes are based on old traditional style of putting various herbal foods together to maximize its nutrients. These recipes can be easily used for the entire family to enjoy.
Other cooking classes take advantage of the various types of Superfoods readily available; putting them together in delicious and highly nutritional ways so that everyone including fussy eaters will love. All recipes are easy to follow and can be modified to suit the taste of the individuals.

You have given me confidence now to move on - yesterday was the " brick wall " for me. I had been struggling with what was happening in my meditations. I find my Meditations at your beautiful Centre keep me on that same journey of love.
